About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Coordination in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution center, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with associates, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and help support an orderly environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the distribution facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and following established visitor, vendor, and driver check-in procedures.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, cameras, and communications equipment; document irregularities and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
