Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have access control or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, managing access control points, and supporting authorized entry for employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
Verify credentials, monitor entry and exit activity, and document visitor and vehicle information in accordance with site policies and applicable access requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Monitor restricted areas and access control systems to help identify unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, entry points, and perimeter locations as directed, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
