As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff, and contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies in a healthcare diagnostic location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and support a professional environment while maintaining awareness of restricted areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
