About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Check in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and visitor activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at gates, lobbies, yards, and other assigned areas, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, which may include loading areas, trailer lots, parking areas, and warehouse access points, as working environments and conditions vary by location.
