As a Security Officer Access Control Technician in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access control activity, visitor entry, and contractor arrivals/departures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations or concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
