As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
  • Support screening and inspection processes for personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering the location, helping to deter unauthorized access and maintain orderly site operations.
