Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor foot traffic and observe for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, then report findings through established site procedures.
• Assist with access control and support a professional environment by greeting visitors, answering basic questions, and/or providing directions consistent with site expectations.
