About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Records in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access, greet employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally, and document activity using computer or tablet tools. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming deliveries and outbound shipments in accordance with site procedures, documenting activity and reporting irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
