As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a busy manufacturing and industrial location. Your role involves helping to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence, managing badge access, and responding to alarm panels. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary according to protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or any irregularities encountered during shifts.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support access control and security-related responsibilities.
