Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
Assist visitors and employees with access-related inquiries in a professional manner, providing high-quality customer service.
Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any unusual activities, security-related breaches, or concerns according to company and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with facility personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related incidents.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and security-related conditions to help to deter potential threats and support a secure environment for people and property.
