As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols within the distribution center.
Verify credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors entering or exiting the facility to support site-specific access control policies.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and security-related procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and client requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to observe and report on security-related matters.
Document and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents according to established procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
Perform additional security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal management or site leadership.
