As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches of security-related protocols.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and assisting with directions and/or site-specific procedures.
