About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Intake in Suwanee, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. You will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring entry activity, and providing professional customer service. The role involves communicating with visitors and team members, responding to security-related concerns, and supporting a welcoming location. This is a full-time position paying $18.75 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation as required by site policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
