About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control EMT Driver in Mount Holly, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic automotive location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will help maintain a professional, welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and communicating clearly with employees and visitors. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • EMT certification is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access to restricted areas, including production, shipping, receiving, and parking locations, while reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
