As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Frisco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify visitors and credentials, maintain access records, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
  • Monitor and manage vehicle and pedestrian access at entry points, verify authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct guests according to community procedures.
  • Respond to access concerns, resident requests, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate observations, incidents, access issues, and policy violations promptly through required reports and to appropriate site contacts.
