As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive manufacturing location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach, you will support a secure, welcoming environment while helping to deter security-related incidents.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, personnel, and material traffic; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility entrances, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
