As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Mount Holly, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An EMT certification is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at gates and access points, providing directions and guidance while following post orders and client location protocols.
