As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to manage authorized access for residents, deliveries, contractors, and other approved individuals.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities, observations, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify access concerns and/or policy violations.
