As a Security Officer Access Control Driver Role in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vehicle entry, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document deliveries, contractors, and other site traffic in accordance with post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns by observing activity, reporting unusual conditions, and following Allied Universal procedures and site protocols.
