About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, managing entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, visitor logs, badges, deliveries, and/or vehicle traffic to help support authorized access throughout the location in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entry points, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, report maintenance or access issues, and document observations according to site procedures.
