As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive manufacturing location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide welcoming customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor entries, maintaining access records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, visitor information, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
