Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry records, and following established authorization procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity or potential hazards.
• Complete accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
