As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and partners. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while meeting Allied Universal’s commitment to agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access materials, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
• Operate access-control systems, monitor entry points, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, exterior access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
