As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Union City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access credentials as authorized, and directing personnel to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, contractor access, and unusual occurrences, completing required reports in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
