As a Security Officer Badge Control Driver in Friendly, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming industrial location by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring activity, and supporting badge access procedures. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers opportunities to provide outstanding customer service while conducting routine patrols. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate access-related logs and reports for visitors, contractors, employees, vehicles, and incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around designated access points, the business, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
