As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use communication and customer service skills to help deter security-related incidents while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a food and beverage production location, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit, following established procedures for deliveries, contractors, and authorized personnel.
