As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Saint Simons Island, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. This driving post may include routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, lobbies, and restricted areas to help manage authorized access, verify credentials, and document visitor activity in accordance with post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns or maintenance issues.
  • Prepare accurate reports of daily activities, access-related events, and unusual occurrences, and help to deter policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.
