Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related policies at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors and deliveries, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic and gate activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors regarding site rules, restricted areas, and reporting procedures.
