About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Compliance in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-control and visitor logs.
  • Screen and document incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures and food production facility requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
