About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Check Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage entry activity, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors, and maintain required logs and/or documentation for authorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Support emergency response activities, badge and key control processes, and other post orders as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
