Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a front desk within an educational setting by greeting students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors and directing them according to site-specific procedures.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
Observe front desk and lobby activity, report suspicious or unauthorized activity, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.
Provide clear information regarding building entry procedures, campus resources, and scheduled events while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
