Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, building concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by reporting hazards, assisting with directional inquiries, and following post orders related to after-hours access, deliveries, and tenant requests.
