About The Position

Amentum is hiring Security Monitors with an active, fully adjudicated Top Secret/SCI clearance for its Springfield, Virginia location. The role pays $25.00 per hour and is on an SCA contract. Security Monitors escort and monitor uncleared personnel at the facility, maintain visual contact and line of sight, and provide verbal and written reports about relevant safety, security, facility, and personnel issues or incidents. The role involves work around active construction and in industrial areas, including mechanical and electrical rooms. Duties may require walking long distances, climbing stairs and stepladders, and standing or sitting for extended periods. Appropriate PPE and, at times, company-provided dress uniform attire are required. The position also requires working at the Annual Family Day event on a Saturday in September.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess and maintain a fully adjudicated Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Ability to stand and sit for long periods.
Ability to provide written and verbal incident reports to various customers.
Impeccable attendance history.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and escort uncleared persons at the facility.
Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues and incidents.
Maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel at all times.
Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel.
Remain alert and awake while monitoring escorted individuals.
Work around active construction areas and use appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
Work in industrial locations, including mechanical and electrical rooms.
Sanitize areas before escorting uncleared personnel into designated work areas.
Walk long distances, climb stairs and stepladders, and sit or stand for long periods.
Wear appropriate work attire, which may include a company-provided dress uniform.
Work at the Annual Family Day event on a Saturday in September.
Perform other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
