About The Position

The Dunes Golf & Beach Club is seeking a Security Manager to join their team. This role is crucial for protecting the property, supporting members, guests, and staff, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a passion for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

Prior experience in security, guest services, or a related field preferred.
Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand/walk for extended periods.
Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Dependable, courteous, and takes pride in helping others while keeping the club safe and welcoming.

Responsibilities

Patrolling club property by foot or golf cart to ensure safety and security.
Securing all club assets, doors, and gates after hours.
Responding to emergency situations and contacting law enforcement, EMS, or fire services as needed.
Monitoring and controlling access at the main gate, verifying guests, and directing event traffic.
Escorting discharged employees or unauthorized individuals off the property.
Documenting all incidents, injuries, and daily activity in detailed reports.
Management of Security team members.
