About The Position

Aramark Nexus is hiring a Security Manager to lead security operations for a new, large-scale workforce community near Hereford, Texas, within driving distance of both Hereford and Amarillo. This full-time security leadership opportunity is designed for an experienced Security Manager, Security Operations Manager, Safety and Security Manager, Corporate Security Manager, Loss Prevention Manager, or hospitality security leader who has supported a large property, residential environment, hotel, resort, campus, or other complex 24/7 operation. The Security Manager will have overall responsibility for ensuring appropriate security programs, procedures, and protocols are in place to protect residents, employees, visitors, property, and operations. This individual will partner directly with a third-party security provider, providing oversight and ensuring contract security personnel are properly deployed, trained, and operating in accordance with established expectations. This is a highly visible leadership role within a residential community where people live, dine, work, and gather on site. The Security Manager will oversee access control, patrol standards, incident response, emergency procedures, security investigations, resident safety, vendor performance, and coordination with site leadership and local emergency services. The successful candidate will bring strong operational judgment, vendor management experience, and a hospitality-focused approach to security. We are looking for someone who understands that an effective security program must create a safe environment while also maintaining a professional, welcoming experience for residents and guests.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in security operations, law enforcement, physical security, corporate security, hospitality security, loss prevention, public safety, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Security Manager, Security Operations Manager, Safety and Security Manager, Loss Prevention Manager, Corporate Security Manager, or similar security leader is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting a hotel, resort, residential community, corporate campus, healthcare facility, university, large entertainment property, or other complex 24/7 environment is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing third-party contract security providers and security personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security, access control, patrol operations, incident response, investigations, emergency preparedness, and security risk assessment.
  • Experience developing security procedures, post orders, escalation protocols, emergency plans, and operating standards.
  • Strong judgment and demonstrated ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during emergency or high-pressure situations.
  • Experience working collaboratively with law enforcement, emergency services, vendors, operational leaders, and other external partners is preferred.
  • Familiarity with access control systems, video surveillance, alarm systems, badging, and other physical security technology is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, vendor management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, military, law enforcement, hospitality security, or professional security experience.
  • Schedule flexibility is required and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours response based on the needs of a 24/7 residential operation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall security program for a large-scale, 24/7 residential workforce community, with responsibility for resident, employee, visitor, and property safety.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the third-party security provider and ensure contract security services meet established staffing, performance, training, and service expectations.
  • Establish and maintain security procedures for access control, visitor management, patrols, incident response, resident safety, and protection of buildings and property.
  • Monitor security staffing and deployment to ensure appropriate coverage across housing, dining, recreation, parking, common areas, entrances, and other areas of the community.
  • Partner with Safety, Facilities, Guest Services, Human Resources, Operations, and other site leaders to identify risks and implement appropriate preventive measures.
  • Lead or coordinate investigations involving security incidents, policy violations, theft, property damage, unauthorized access, disturbances, or other concerns.
  • Develop emergency security procedures and coordinate response activities with site leadership, medical providers, local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services as appropriate.
  • Monitor incident reports, security activity, patrol documentation, access records, and other data to identify trends and opportunities to strengthen the security program.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and site walks to identify physical security risks, access concerns, lighting issues, or other vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure security vendors and personnel understand site expectations, resident service standards, emergency protocols, escalation procedures, and applicable policies.
  • Support security technology and systems including access control, surveillance cameras, alarms, badging, and other physical security tools as applicable.
  • Create a professional security culture focused on prevention, preparedness, accountability, discretion, and a positive resident experience.
