This is a contingent position based upon contract award. KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Security Manager to join our team supporting a government client in Aurora, Colorado.

Requirements

• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in a Security related field of study
• Knowledge of USG Security processes and procedures
• Familiarity with USG and IC policies in regard to Physical. Personnel, and Information Security.
• Experience supervising security staff operating on a 24x7 basis
• Demonstrated capability to exercise good judgment
• Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills
• Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment, demonstrating solid independent judgment
• Ability to interpret, capture, and manage customer requirements and expectations

Nice To Haves

• Seven (7) years’ experience managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring program compliance with all corporate and government requirements and directives with regards to Physical, Personnel and Information Security.
• Provide guidance and assistance regarding protection of classified information
• Conduct briefings and participate in technical meetings with internal / external customers
• Compile data and provide necessary metrics or performance highlights
• Maintain a continuing security education and training program
• Conduct self-inspections and participate in government security vulnerability assessments
