This role reports to the Director of Operations and is primarily responsible for supervising the day-to-day security operations of assigned Client sites. Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of managerial and policy making experience in the law enforcement or contract security field.
  • Experience level to include extensive internal contacts within the local law enforcement community.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred.
  • CPP certification (ASIS)
  • OSHA-30
  • FEMA IC 700
  • MARSEC FSO Certification

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Security Officers, Site and Shift Supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support.
  • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees.
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service.
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
  • Conduct annual reviews for on site staff.
  • Monitor the quality of staff performance including coordinating and conducting exit interviews, assisting with unemployment claims review of disciplinary actions, recommendations for suspension or termination as well as ensuring a regular performance appraisal program for all staff.
  • Coordinate and document performance tracking of all staff personnel.
  • Maintain and ensure the integrity of personnel files and workforce management systems working with Account/Operations Managers and HR department, as necessary.
  • Support HR department in review of involuntary terminations including, union grievances and appeals.
  • Support Director of Operations and HR in hiring, training and on-boarding.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities and account trends.
  • Responsible for tracking company equipment in the field including technology, vehicles, etc. and ensuring company equipment is utilized in accordance with applicable policies.
  • Stay current on federal, state and local CBA guidelines relative our services.
  • Support the organization’s culture, processes, practices and systems to ensure that company and its clients.
  • Prepare correspondence and memos as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
