About The Position

As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of physical, personnel, and information security operations in support of U.S. Government (USG) Sponsor requirements. This position ensures compliance with applicable security policies, procedures, and directives while leading a 24x7 security operations team in a dynamic and mission-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of USG Sponsor security processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with USG Sponsor and Intelligence Community (IC) policies related to: Physical Security, Personnel Security, Information Security.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting classified government or intelligence programs.
  • Experience developing and implementing security policies and operational procedures.
  • Experience supervising a security staff operating on a 24x7 basis.
  • Demonstrated capability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and professional decision-making.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly secure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee security operations supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Supervise and lead security personnel operating in a 24x7 environment, ensuring continuous operational readiness and compliance.
  • Implement and enforce USG Sponsor security processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Coordinate and manage physical, personnel, and information security programs in accordance with USG Sponsor and Intelligence Community (IC) policies.
  • Conduct security assessments, inspections, and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related matters with government representatives, leadership, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, reports, procedures, and training materials.
  • Ensure proper handling, safeguarding, and accountability of classified and sensitive information.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to security staff while fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making in high-pressure and sensitive situations.
