This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day security operations, ensuring the safety and security of the hospital, patients, visitors, and staff. The Security Manager will develop and implement security plans, policies, and procedures to detect and deter threats, maintain a working knowledge of current security protocols, tools, hardware, and software, and monitor security systems. This position requires staying informed about current security threats and trends, providing operational guidance and support to security personnel, conducting performance evaluations, assigning shifts, and fostering a positive work environment. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing emergency response plans, coordinating with external agencies, and assuming the responsibilities of the Director of Security in their absence. The Security Manager will also support the Director in providing briefings and reports to executive management.
