About The Position

Infinity is seeking a Security Manager to support the Mission System Research and Development Support contract at the Blossom Point Satellite Command and Tracking Facility (BPTF) in Welcome, Maryland. This role is contingent upon contract award, with a projected start date between March and June 2027. The position is ideal for individuals currently supporting the BPTF mission or experienced professionals with the necessary skills and passion to contribute to critical national security and space operations programs. The Security Manager will be responsible for the proper handling of all Communications Security (COMSEC) materials, including ordering, handling, and loading keying material. This includes working with government COMSEC custodians for timely delivery of equipment, materials, and keying material, as well as maintaining all record-keeping. The role also involves conducting secure equipment and classified keying material inventories, inspections, and other COMSEC-related support and oversight functions. Additionally, the Security Manager will be responsible for executing site security in accordance with relevant DoD and NRL policies and directives, ensuring the physical security of the site, managing access control systems, issuing access badges, verifying clearances, and ensuring gates and doors are properly secured. The position requires verifying visitor clearances and notifying essential personnel of expected visitors, and working with NRL Code 1200 (security) on all security matters to ensure compliance with the latest directives and policies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
5 years of experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications
Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
Experience managing COMSEC material handling, including ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for keying material in accordance with DoD policies.
Familiarity with COMSEC key management procedures and coordination with government COMSEC custodians for timely support and compliance.
Experience conducting COMSEC inventories, inspections, and maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit and accountability purposes.
Knowledge of physical security operations including access control, badge issuance, visitor control, and secure facility procedures.
Familiarity with DoD security directives and ability to ensure compliance with classified site security requirements and regulations.
U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Manage all Communications Security (COMSEC) materials, including the ordering, handling, accountability, inventory, and loading of classified keying material in accordance with applicable security requirements.
Coordinate with Government COMSEC Custodians to ensure the timely receipt, distribution, tracking, and documentation of COMSEC equipment, materials, and records.
Conduct COMSEC inventories, inspections, audits, and oversight activities to maintain compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and organizational security policies.
Oversee all aspects of physical security for the site, including access control systems, badge issuance, visitor processing, clearance verification, security signage, and facility access procedures.
Serve as the primary security liaison with NRL Code 1200 and other government security representatives to ensure compliance with current security directives, policies, and procedures.
