About The Position

Supervise and coordinate all event security operations across the Coliseum. Lead pre-event planning and security briefings with staff, vendors, and/or public safety partners. Oversee guest screening procedures and access control at all entry points. Monitor crowds and ensure proper flow, especially during high-attendance events. Respond to and manage incidents, altercations, or medical emergencies with professionalism and composure. Protect event participants, livestock, and property by maintaining a strong security presence in and around the arena. Maintain detailed logs and incident reports for management and authorities as needed. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards or security concerns. Train, mentor, and schedule usher personnel to meet event-specific needs. Serve as a liaison between local Law Enforcement and Fire Department to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration for all joint initiatives. Ensure compliance with Cowtown Coliseum, ASM Global/Legends policies, Texas state regulations, and public safety standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Working knowledge of crowd control, access management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with large crowds and livestock.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Texas security license (Level II or III) preferred.
