About The Position

The Security Lead provides supervision and guidance to security personnel, ensuring proper procedures and training for their assigned shift. This role is responsible for the overall security of patrons, employees, and company assets. The Security Lead sets an example in performance, dependability, customer service, and personal appearance. Key duties include completing weekly schedules, tardiness/absenteeism forms, and barment forms. The role involves resolving subordinate issues through counseling or disciplinary action, ensuring accurate incident reports, and communicating effectively with management, surveillance, and law enforcement. The Security Lead also provides assistance to other departments and offers emergency support, including first response to medical incidents, evacuation/crowd control, bomb searches, and directing emergency situations. Participation in departmental meetings and performing security officer/dispatch duties as needed are also expected. Attendance at scheduled training sessions is required.

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings with department managers and fellow supervisors.
  • Perform security officer/dispatch duties as needed.
  • Attend scheduled training.
