Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in a financial institution location, following established entry, identification, and reporting procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
