About The Position
The Security Guard oversees site security operations to protect employees, customers, assets, and facilities while supporting a safe and controlled environment during auction operations. This role manages security coverage, policies, and incident response protocols across auction property, including vehicle lots, buildings, and sale-day operations.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good driving record.
- Able to pass pre-employment screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Security, loss prevention, law enforcement, military, or related security experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor facility access and ensure secure entry and exit for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
- Patrol the property to help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security concerns.
- Investigate and document security incidents and assist with implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and security partners when needed.
- Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and documentation.
- Support auction sale-day operations by assisting with crowd management, traffic flow, and overall site security.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
