About The Position

Signal Security is seeking dedicated and professional Security Guards to join our team. This role involves patrolling properties, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety and security of clients and residents. We have full-time and part-time positions available with various shifts, including nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will be alert, engaged, proactive, and possess excellent communication and de-escalation skills. Responsibilities include conducting foot and vehicle patrols, checking vacant units, responding to resident issues, writing detailed reports with photos, and monitoring for unusual activity. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid Tennessee Guard Card
Valid driver's license
Able to read, speak, and write in English
Must be able to hit 30-50 stops with QUALITY patrolling and report writing
All officers must be confident and comfortable with verbal de-escalation
Must be able to work shifts requiring walking, standing, driving
For roving patrol officer must be capable of time management and ability to conduct vehicle AND foot patrols on multiple properties per shift.
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
Pass background check and drug test
Must have reliable transportation
Complete training modules within first month
Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds

Responsibilities

Conduct and deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company’s values, expectations, and consistent service in alignment with site specific instructions/post orders.
Write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.
Arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, and adhere to dress code and appearance standards.
Interact with internal and external customers on site, cultivating a customer service relationship while striving to provide peace of mind.
Communicate with the Advanced Dedicated Guard or the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
Be responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, vehicles, and devices, etc.
De-escalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, such as client needs and post order changes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
Conduct a variety of vehicle AND foot patrols on site.
Check vacant units.
Respond to resident issues.
Contact local law enforcement as needed.
Support Signal and client property management with resident issues.
Complete 30-50+ reports including explanations of observations and property activity with clear photos.
Respond to dispatch calls.
Interact with activity and individuals on property.
Monitor actively for unusual activity on site.
Perform randomized but planned patrols of multiple sites throughout the shift.
Stand or walk for extended periods.
Respond quickly to threats or emergencies.
Complete incident reports.
Maintain situational awareness.
Operate security technology.
Drive a patrol vehicle on a scheduled patrol cycle for specific durations with limited idle times (for Patrol Officer or Dedicated vehicle post).
Conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety.
