About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Mobile Security in South Bend, Indiana. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow employees to vary their hours and build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The posted pay rate is $18.20 per hour. The listed schedule is Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

The Security Guard provides customer service while following security procedures and site-specific policies, responds calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducts regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
