Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery information, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, production areas, loading zones, and restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, vehicle access, deliveries, and other security-related events in accordance with site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing for maintenance concerns, access issues, and unusual conditions that could affect daily operations.
