About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a casual Response Security Officer whose duties vary by day and special event. The officer may perform customer service, patrols, surveillance, and other security assignments, adapting to changing situations while protecting people and property. The position is based in Islandia, New York, and requires availability Friday through Sunday, with additional shifts available. The hourly wage is $18.50, paid weekly. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have strong responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
• Hold a New York State security license.
