About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time security guard to serve and safeguard clients at a healthcare location in Savannah, Georgia. The role involves patrolling and inspecting assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The guard provides customer service, communicates clearly, and responds to security-related concerns with integrity.

The position pays $20.01 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete background and drug screening as applicable. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions. The posting states that lifting more than 20 pounds, computer or tablet use, customer service experience, and a security-related government-issued license are preferred.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol documentation, and daily activity records in accordance with company and site requirements.
