As a Security Officer Patrol with CPR Certification in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a public education location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and/or exterior grounds, assisting with visitor direction, after-hours access procedures, and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support school-related operations during arrival, dismissal, events, and/or high-traffic periods by helping with orderly movement, maintaining a visible presence, and following post orders and site-specific policies.
